The buzz continues even throughout this month as guests rave about the “President’s Circle Awards Luncheon” hosted by pop superstar Usher Raymond IV and chaired by John Brock (Chairman and CEO of the Coca Cola Company) and his wife Mary Brock (co-owner of the WNBAs Atlanta Dream) held at one of Atlanta’s most opulent hotels – The St. Regis.
My escapade to Atlanta began the day prior to the luncheon with a tour of some of Atlanta’s major tourist attractions: CNN Headquarters, Georgia Aquarium (world’s largest aquarium), and World of Coca Cola. Of course, there were so much more attractions (such as the Home of the NFL’s Atlanta Falcon’s Georgia Dome, Jimmy Carter Presidential Library, Six Flags over Georgia, etc) but there was just no way to visit all of them after arriving from the airport by around 11am. Despite the hot and humid city weather, Southern hospitality was pleasant and welcoming as Georgian’s had no problem answering to tourist questions like me.
UNL certifies young people in four leadership pillars – talent, education, career, and service – to ensure their success as leaders throughout the world. And with BCCF’s distinct reputation of working with many other high profile charities (Ben Morrison’s “LaughAid”, Leeza Gibbon’s “The Memory Foundation”, Kobe Bryant’s “The Kobe and Vanessa Bryant Family Foundation”, Union Rescue Mission), BCCF’s support of UNL’s mission should bring powerful awareness to the world at large. I am certainly looking forward to more future collaborative events with Black Card Circle Foundation and New Look Foundation right here in Los Angeles!
